Is Drug Abuse Rare?
Because of the stigma surrounding substance abuse, many people believe that addiction is uncommon or shameful. In reality, drug-related problems are among the most significant public health issues in the United States. Almost 21 million Americans have at least one diagnosable addiction; between the years of 1999 and 2017, more than 700,000 Americans died due to a drug overdose. This health concern is common and requires professional treatment
Does Drug Addiction Treatment Work?
The good news is that no matter how severe the problem may seem, most people with an addiction to drugs can benefit from treatment. Research shows that about one-third of people who are treated for drug problems have no further symptoms one year later. Many others substantially reduce their drug use and report fewer drug related problems.

Proven Treatment Tailored to Your Needs
In order to recover from drug abuse, a person must develop tools they can trust to help them utilize recovery thoughts and actions when they feel the urge to use drugs again. Our drug treatment program helps residents learn to identify the conscious choices they are making throughout their daily living. We provide training and ongoing support as men and women learn to use new recovery tools in different situations where they would have previously used drugs to cope. As they gain confidence in their ability to make positive, healthy choices, residents of our drug recovery program experience improved thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Our treatment graduates can now experience new daily living, full of renewed self-esteem, acceptance, reduced stress, less anxiety, and wonderful healing of trauma. Our individualized treatment plans use approaches proven to help residents learn to experience their emotions and develop the tools to recover from drug dependency. Specific examples include:
